Scribd warns users of possible data access
- •A notice received Oct. 26 says an unauthorized party may have accessed users’ email addresses, card issuer, expiry date, last four card digits, country and payment history.
- •Scribd says it has no evidence the data was misused and has secured the affected system.
- •The company says it notified law enforcement and data protection authorities and is strengthening access controls and monitoring.
